Welcome to my Cape Town Photo Gallery! This started off as a place to publish my photos of Cape Town. Over time I Hope to feature many pics by other more professional photographers..
As of now, it's only a few photos. I have one picture of Table Mountain at Night, taken from the V & A Waterfront.
CapeTown CBD Night Photo with Low Cloud. I took this photo from my apartment
using my Canon Powershot A80 in manual mode and a time
exposure. Cape Town is known to locals as "the world in one city", due to the cosmopolitan nature of the population, its many languages and
fascinating cultures. They also say that Cape Town has "four seasons in a day".
This photo bears testimony to this fact. It was a perfectly clear day. We were having dinner at my apartment - afterwards I stepped outside onto the balcony and was greated with this most amazing site - low
mist flowing over the city skyscrapers. Although I didn't have my tripod on me at the time, I was determined to take some photos of this remarkable event. Eventually, using a dishtowel to place my camera carefully on the balcony (emphasis on carefully, as we are on the 5th floor), I
managed to get a few good pics before the phenomenon silently disappeared as quickly and silently as it had started!
