Welcome to my Two Oceans Aquarium Photo Gallery!
As of now, it's only a few photos. I have one picture of Table Mountain at Night, taken from the V & A Waterfront.
The Two Oceans Aquarium is situated at the V & A Waterfront, the tourist hub and premier shopping district of Cape Town.
What really differentiates this aquarium from any other on the planet, is the fact that it features aquatic animals and plants from the warm Indian Ocean as well as the cold Atlantic Ocean.
Highlights of the aquarium are many - the predator tank (pictured above and in the following few pics), filled with sharks and other predators is not only an awesome spectacle, but an excellent conference venue. Talk about cut-throat business..
There is also a huge turtle in the tank, which will thrill anyone who has seen Finding Nemo.
The Warm Indian Ocean tank at the entrance is another winner. Firstly, there are dozens of Nemo clones (or Clowns), and a dora as well! You will find a few images in this gallery that try to capture this colourful exibition.
The sea horses are amazing - I didn't manage to get a good pic of them. There are a number of 'ocean freaks'.. the huge crayfish and giant white crab (pictured in this gallery), Moray and his strange friends (I will find out their proper names) and many many more.
